Real uses for an Artichoke
Advice from Gabrielle O'Leary: "I have checked with my mamma who says that once prepared (which is the removal of tough outer leaves down to the pale ones inside) and boiled (20 mins or so - until soft), add olive oil to pan with a bit of garlic and flat leaf parsley, sauté, add salt / pepper to taste and serve hot or cold. Delicious either way."
Thanks, Gabrielle - and we hope you enjoyed them after they were mistreated as above!
